Teaching on LAN-Master is a breeze as teachers get the chance to interact with amazing students who wish to chat to a native-speaking teacher in order to gain confidence and improve their spoken English. It’s such a natural, stress-free way to learn English whether you’re at home or even when you’re on the go. As the interaction takes place on the phone, students aren’t limited in the sense that they don’t have to be in front of a computer/laptop. The same goes for teachers. There is an option for either video or voice calls, depending on the students’ preferences. The app is simple and straightforward to use and students can work on improving all areas of spoken English including grammar, pronunciation, correct sentence structure and vocabulary. Each student is treated as an individual with lessons tailored to their needs. Teachers are treated fairly and are able to showcase their skills in various areas of English instruction. It is practically impossible to achieve the top level teacher pay grade of 180 yuan p/h. You have to be teaching a minimum of around 8 hours per day, 7 days a week. No teacher on the app has ever reached it. It is possible to reach 150 p/h but only in the 4th month. It is difficult to meet the requirements for a pay increase. Teacher pay grades after probation: Month 1: 78 p/h Month 2: 96 p/h Month 3: 120 p/h Month 4: 150 p/h During probation, Lanmaster staff will listen to teacher's classes to assess the quality of teaching. The free talk voice call function is a good idea, especially for shy learners. The teacher needs to provide corrections during the conversation. I've had some enjoyable conversations and good experiences with students during video classes. Staff are supportive. Although teachers are only supposed to be able to receive voice calls for free talks, I've received video calls which wasn't convenient. When a student calls, clicking on the notification banner cancels the call. The app needs to be open to be able to answer any scheduled or unscheduled call. This has happened several times, and most students don’t try calling back again even when invited to do so. I’m using an iPhone 13 ios-17

Furthermore, students can work on their English skills for different purposes, including IELTS, business English and general English. This is an ergonomic app that provides students with an excellent tool for improving their English!

I recently just joined Language Masters and I’ve already had an amazing start. The staff on this platform have been very supportive and are quite friendly and easily approachable. Even if they have a lot on their plate, they always respond to you when they get a chance. I’d also like to give a special thanks to Rosse who is the Manager for General English Official Course because she gave me great ideas to attract new students and also assisted me on editing a simple video. I’d definitely recommend this platform if you’d like to start teaching online.

I have applied through their app. They said that they do not accept new teachers anymore. Then I kept saying new and new teachers getting approved every day. I tried contacting them again and sent multiple messages through the platform, yet nobody bothered to get back to me.
