I think I finally see a use case: to measure the width of a room, set it on three second delay, put your phone flat against one wall, press the volume button, and then look at your phone to read the measurement. But that is not nearly as helpful as apps I’ve been using for years that let one measure objects in front of you by tapping at the beginning and then at the end of an object. A great enhancement would be to add this functionality.
Only works up to 30 feet.

It only uses one camera, the one facing me. It’s a terrible product.

You can only use the camera facing yourself, and the range is only three meters.
