Laid-Back Camp All -in -one!!

While the games aesthetic is cute and fun, you’re better off watching the anime. That’s all it is, it’s literally making you relive the anime and making you do Gacha pulls in the process. I can’t do what I want when I want, and unfortunately my phones battery starts raising the white flag almost an hour in. Genshin Impact does a better job at ensuring your phone won’t start cooking eggs almost right away, but boy does this game give you trouble. I played for literally a full hour before I got bored and said, “Alright. I’m just gonna boot up Crunchyroll.”

I was already a fan of Yuru Camp when I chose to download this game. The game definitely has it’s issues: the tutorial cannot be completed, camping can be a little confusing, and the check in feature being locked to Japan only is a bit of a letdown. However, despite these issues, this is a genuinely fun experience. Once you get ahold of the camping mechanics, it becomes quite fun, plus it’s well animated, and all the charm of the original anime and manga is preserved here. Plus, the gacha system is one of the better ones out there, making it much easier to acquire SR Costumes and Cards than other games of its kind would allow. All in all, I do recommend this game, and I hope more improvements are on the way to make this game even better.

I wanted to love this game so badly. After I saw the dark reality of gacha, I had to quit due to how it was utterly draining my lifeforce and how I had to learn to work around the countless bugs. I write this review as a former rank 30's player. The gacha is some of the most pressured I have ever encountered. They only last about a week each and there are so many happening at once. I don't see how it's possible to get anything from these unless you're constantly spending hundreds of dollars. Other gachas I've played give at least a few weeks per event to give people a chance. Aside from that, the game crashes about ~5 times a day randomly when the game needs to load new 3D models or scenes. There are also glitchy main gameplay scenes where Chiaki moonwalks behind Rin when cooking, Nadeshiko is stuck in a table during hide and seek, etc. The entire item system has tons of glitches and issues. Item quantities remain the same after selling, equipping 3-star items sometimes show as a 1-star item when its memory is triggered, can't use the pet tent (one of the few play items). There are item stat and availability imbalances where there are hardly any effective "play" items or "exercise" costumes that I am seeing. Almost all costumes are "cold" and there are plenty of strong "cooking" items. There is no feature to collect all rewards at once for items so a player must go through tens of times one by one collecting rewards individually while battling repetitive popups of the girls. Error codes crash the game when tapping on MBR daily collection reward after it is already collected. Crash when collecting rewards on individual glitched items with unavailable images and corrupt names, etc. The list of issues goes on. Cute characters, cute music, but I'm done. My suggestion is just go enjoy the anime and real-life camping.

I tried to play this game for almost an hour and it’s just tutorial after tutorial after tutorial. Even when you finally see the “skip tutorial” option appear, it just takes you to a different part of the tutorial, and then there are pop ups and more pop ups and then more tutorial. You never seem to get to actually play the game. What a waste of time.

Infinite loading

This game is amazing when it works. It reminds me a tiny bit of animal crossing but you don’t have to put in as much work which I really like. The only downside is it’s constantly crashing like every 20 mins and I have a newer iPhone. It’s also poorly translated here and there, some things don’t even get translated. I can’t view my collection without it crashing and every time it does crash, it resets the “new” tags. In the campsite even if the “new” item is placed it still shows up as new. Did I mention it crashes a lot. Camping takes like 30 mins and it’s not explained well partially because the translation. They definitely phoned some parts in though and it’s infuriating to see the potential this game has squandered for whatever reason(s). I hope this game will last but I’m worried that because of this mess of a release pushed a lot of people away from a potentially great game and now it’s hindered instead. Get it together.

I’m glad you fixed the bugs where user view the next chapter story, but I also experience some bugs where I decide to clear camp after 10+ minutes playing the game, I got kicked out. I’m using ip13 and have not experience issues with any other games so I think this is not due to my phone capacity.

Currently, I’m having a blast. It reminds me a lot of the Pocket AC game from a while ago, just Yuru Camp. There is some problems with optimization, but it seems the devs are ontop of it with constant updates with the most recent one adding a skip tutorial feature
