The Philips DV001 door viewer battery couldn’t be charged beyond 10-20% after 1.5 years of use. Very disappointed.

I changed all the settings and reset the device also. Still couldn’t receive any notification from the app. Am using IOS phone 15. With so many feedback here, it’s funny that Philips is still not doing anything to improve the app. Isn’t the app part of the service as well? I mean that’s the reason why I bought the device. To have notifications triggered when someone is the door and now the device seems to be just another camera monitoring the door. Might as well I just get another camera. Such a waste of money. Lesson learnt for me, is to look at the reviews of the app for the device I’m buying also.

My philips lock has a camera and the apps can’t seems to connect to camera today , not sure whether the video call when someone ring the bell still working . Second issue that the door lock need to resetup to connect to wifi sometime and third issue it seems like the battery cover cannot close tightly and I experience that the door is not functioning and I have to ask my family to open the door for me and re insert the battery to the door lock to make it functioning

For the price of a phillips lock (S$900+) I would expect the app to be more sophisticated. Unable to add pin in the app, unable to set timings of when people can come in. Notifications suddenly turned off, unable to edit volume etc etc. all in all the app is almost useless and u have to use the physical lock to set things up. If I had another chance to purchase, I would have gone with another brand whose app really works

Honestly the app is quite poor. Basic feature such as time plan for finger print is simply none functional - it keeps giving “operations failed”. Wouldn’t have purchase the lock if i knew this.

The cloud service is slow & most of the time freezes.

Hi developer, Please review the app and apply those fixes for the app to perform seamless operation. There are alot of function doesn’t works it supposed to be. You need to exit and open the app multiple times for the feature to work. Please work on the issue ASAP.
