Korean,

I’ve been using this app for a few years and have never encountered anything strange about their interpretations or seen anything odd written until tonight. I looked up “majseubnida” (it is correct) and found this: “맞습니다” then below it it says “It is” and then below that is says “Corresp69onded, Fit, Correct, Fits”. I’m almost 66 years old and the numbers the translator “fit in” is offensive in a dictionary. I’m not some prudish old hag. I understand the other meaning of “69”, but it really isn’t appropriate in a Korean/English dictionary or any dictionary, for that matter. It’s probably too late, but I do hope the translator is, at the very least, warned and I also hope (and will look for) that the “69” will be removed from the translation. Also, anything else the translator worked on is suspect and should be checked for other inappropriate additions.

I was looking for the word for 등대지기. Your dictionary says “light housekeeper”. Looked kind of funny and Not right. Further search says “lighthouse keeper”. Big difference!

So stupid idek what the point of this app is

I like this dictionary, but I did find what I think is an error for the word 격식. Here's the definition in the dictionary: 격식 Informal formal, formality, prestigious Note that the definition uses two words of opposite meaning. I believe the word indicates formal, not informal.

The pronunciation is not functioning. I already update the newest version. My connection is fine.

I downloaded this app several days ago and it has worked wonderfully (going from Korean to English and back again). Everything is obviously offline; you're basically querying from a bunch of words that the designer has loaded into a list. As far as ads go, ads are placed in relatively innocuous places, making your experience relatively unburdened. Definitely recommend; if this continues to be useful for the next couple of weeks, I'll definitely pay to remove ads / help the developer.
