Did not alert me to contact even though others in my group got notified
One of my roommates I spent significant time with over 3 days informed me of a positive result. I verified with another mutual contact that their app showed exposure details, but mine doesn’t for any of the days. Can’t figure out why it’s not working and I can’t reach support.
App doesn’t work and the support link sends you to the CDC homepage.
Notifications
The app is a good idea to help with tracing but it sends a notification that when opened just leads to the app opening, not showing anything different and working fine. Could these false alarms be worked out? Or am I missing something here, my version is up to date.
Battery drain
I support the use of this app to help keep everyone safe, but is there a way to reduce battery usage? On my iPhone 12 Pro Max my battery dropped about 20% overnight with most of the drain caused by this app.
(Fixed!) Needs additional languages as soon as possible.
Updated! Just got tonight’s first all-clear alert and it was suddenly in the OS language. Well done! Updated to five stars. Keep up the good work! Back in January 2020 the Taiwan CDC issued mask and distancing guidelines. Those guidelines, posted all over the country, were available from the start in: 繁體中文, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and English. While trust in the organization is high, the effectiveness of a contact app is in how many people install it. It needs localizations in those languages otherwise spread will occur through minority populations untraceably. Three stars for what looks like a solid, standards compliant IOS native app. Minus half a star each for the missing localizations.
Background update.
Great! English is now available. Does this app need to have background app update turned on at all times?
