Apple Music Classical

iPad version / integration with music app is needed.

I would like a separate classics media library within the app but would like to see them in my main music Library as well. I am sure we could get an option on that. Like almost everybody else I am hoping for an iPad version of the app with enriched content and info.

While this is a fascinating upgrade from the Apple Music app for classical music listeners, it is so strange there was no native iPad or Apple TV app since the beginning —and still now so many months after its launch— since it seems like an ideal app for these formats.

The app should be available on ipad os too.

For version 1, from a content the application seems to be on the right path. It has the right filters and categories to browse through classical music in the way that anyone would expect. I still don’t understand why there isn’t a native version for iPad or Apple TV like the Music one.

Why isn’t there no iPad version?

The app is functionally ok at its basic level, but there is a lot missing, things like sharing individual tracks, a separate library that isn’t connected to the main Apple Music app, and there’s no button to bring you from a track to the composer’s page, along with other small improvements that could be made.

This should have been more than just a fancy search engine for classical music, the fact that it doesn’t have its own independent library and playlist system is horrible. Why would I want to have Mozart Requiem right next to Imagine Dragons and Eminem? I was expecting an app dedicated in classical pieces and soundtracks, not just a search engine. You can’t save or share tracks individually, and you can only favorite composer albums and not the artist albums. Why make a deferent app if it can’t do anything on its own, you don’t even let us play it shuffle.
