What does it do?
ApTap is here to help you become good with money. It's got budgeting like you've never seen it before, all your bills in one place (finally!), price comparison features, and a range of exclusive offers in our subscription store.
How It Works
After connecting your bank accounts, the app detects your income and regular expenditures, such as rent, bills, and subscriptions. It then calculates how much money you have left to spend after these expenses have been paid. The app also accounts for additional day-to-day spending, ensuring that your budget is always up-to-date.
Saving Money
The cost of living is increasing dramatically at the moment. To save money, you can set up reminders for when your contracts are about to expire. The app allows you to switch seamlessly to a better deal when the time is right, avoiding costly exit fees.
Bank-Level Security
ApTap employs SSL 256-bit encryption, the same level of security used by banks to protect your data. As a read-only application, ApTap cannot move your money. Our data partner, TrueLayer, is trusted by and collaborates with the UK's leading banks.

The app is completely free to use. ApTap receives a commission when you switch bills using our tools, but you're not obligated to switch with us in order to use it.
ApTap Ltd is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 850828) as an agent of TrueLayer Limited, who is providing the regulated Account Information Service, and is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 901096) under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 and Electronic Money Regulations 2011.

It doesn’t not work. What a waste of time!
I have logged in, tried to connect my bank account. The app requested to wait for ages and nothing happened. When I tried to open the app again the result was the same - please wait. I deleted the app and repeated the process of logging in. The result was the same: Please wait. I have up to date iPhone. Relatively new. All the other apps are working.
Missed payment
Show 3 missed payments on the app when you try to say “it’s been paid” you constantly get an error message it’s very frustrating the app needs updating or bugs fixed
Use Comparison Websites
You will get a better choice and value using standard comparison websites. They clearly only show best commission providers in this app - avoid if you actually want a better deal/wider view of what’s available.

Didn’t give accurate information Compared to comparison websites. Choice of broadband providers were very few. Incentives were lower on the app. Registering your number on the app will get you a courtesy call to see how you’re finding/liking the app.!!! Deleted after first few attempts at searching… still got my courtesy call from a number withheld!!!
Awesome app
I love the simolicity and the sleek design. I recommend ApTap!!
Don’t bother
Sounds a good idea, but not as clever as they suggest. Didn’t tell me any thing I didn’t already know and didn’t sort outgoings particularly well. Both ApTap and the bank earn commission on encouraging you to change suppliers… Deleted!
Very manual
I’ve had similar apps previously. Some free and some you need to pay for add on packages. There is no spend categories and anything you can add you need to do it manually. Which I could just do from my normal banking apps.
Seamless service
Great value in helping me switch over my broadband and tv
Neat!
Looks nice and the calendar is so useful, didn’t realise how much I needed this!
