Maybe it’s only for modem/routers but it doesn’t work at all for a plain cable modem.

First, the QR code had “no useable information”. Try inputting information manually, kept getting “Network connectivity to Wireless Gateway has been lost.” Never mind I have internet access. Can’t seem to change my admin or password. Ridiculous.

I’m sure it works for One and 1 in 10 people, but for the rest of us, this app is completely useless. It will take you to a website that is completely Janky and does not work. The router itself seems OK quality. But other than that, it was a complete waste of money and does not work.

Shows connection to the modem, bit try login and “suddenly has lost connection.” What a waste of time.

One of the worst configuration apps I’ve ever used. Steer clear of this trash

If you’re reading this review it’s already too late. This is the most glitchy, buggy, poorly administered app I’ve ever used. No weekend support. Changes made upon initial provisioning and setup became permanent and are unable to be restored. For 6 months now the only support Arris has offered is to “please perform a reset to enable default settings” This needs to be performed 2-3 times a month for the last 6 months. I’m done with any Arris products.

Can’t even set up a username or password. App is worthless

Return the modem without even opening the box. To up the modem, the app tells you to scan the QR code on the device. There is no QR code on the device. So I went through manual set up. Enter my login credentials, and it immediately says I am connected. However, when I continue with the app, it says I am not connected. And indeed, I am not connected. The signal shows on my phone but I am not able to bring up any sites. I suppose this just means I have connected to the router, but the router is not speaking to the modem. So in the app, I click on the link for supported devices. This just brings me to a list of devices they have for sale. I googled around and apparently there is no list of supportive devices, except the ones they sell. Even though my previous Aris modem worked with the router that I have. After wasting two hours of my life on their product and not getting the most basic service out of it, I am certainly not going to buy another one of their devices.
