The app contains a lot of tangles, strings and enhancers. They all come with an explanation by Eni Oken and I really enjoy her teaching. You can let the app decide for you which ones to use but you can also select them yourself. I think there’s a little room for improvement on the user experience side of the app (it took me a while to figure out how to use the search feature for instance) but given this app is totally free of charge and without annoying ads popping up, I find this totally forgivable.

Eni Oken is a brilliant Certified Zentangle Teacher©️ This app is so fun to go through. Create endless combinations of tangles! You can have the raffle randomly select, tangles, enhancers and strings, or go through a guided practice. It’s flexible and fun! In addition, you flip the card, if you like the tangle, keep it or switch it for a new one. In addition, flip the card and there is the step out and links to even further discoveries! If you love to create art and draw, you'll definitely want to have this app. This app helps me every time I use it. It's easy to use, graphics are clear, examples are wonderful, and all around 5 star help with learning how to draw some tangles. I also love how I can group the tangles, strings, and techniques so I can focus on a group of similar drawings at the same time. Thank you Alan and Eni for such an awesome app!

This app is incredible, I like to use it as prompts to draw tangles but I also find that if I’m looking for a type of tangle say floral, ribbon or leaf, I can type it in the search and there are so many choices. I love when I find a new to me tangle that the step out is on the flip side. Great app and it’s free which is even better. Thank you!!!

This is a great app to help you come up with ideas for making beautiful tangles. You can combine strings, tangles, fillers, etc. There are instructions for each, it’s easy to swap out an option, and you can save the whole set of you’d like. It’s a great tool for providing inspiration or breaking you out of a rut where you use the same tangles over and over. Updates are made as needed too. Great app.

Art Raffle is an absolutely wonderful resource! It looks a being constantly updated and expanded. It may not have as many tangles on it as certain websites have yet. BUT not only does it have tangles and strings, but it has enhancers, fillers, techniques. It has guided option for when you just want someone else to pick, or freeform where you can guide yourself. And each and every option not only comes with instructions, but also comes with picture and links to projects that Eni Oken has done using that tangle etc. And more often than not there are several examples. Just a fabulous tool. Best resource out there.
