I started my CF and was preparing to make physical artic cards… but as time went on, the less time I had to make them! Then I thought I’d give this app a try (after borrowing my co-worker’s app for a few days). For me it is worth the investment—I use it with ALL my articulation kids, love how REAL images are used (not clipart), matching games, customize theme, etc.

I don’t regularly write reviews but just had to because ever since getting Articulation Station Hive It has saved me so much time and stress. All the prep I was doing before with boxes of speech sound cards and having to haul them for push-in sessions or organize them before the next group came into my room… that’s all gone. I love being able to even go right back to what we worked on the last session easily in the app! Some of my favorite things are the isolation and syllable levels being added- the speech sound cues are so stinkin’ cute! I also love being able to do minimal pairs! This also saved me so much time writing progress reports! I just went back to the scores and grabbed ALL the data for the child since the beginning of the school year. Seriously this has been worth every penny when it comes to convenience, time and stress. The kids love it too!

I really enjoy this app, there are so many options and it keeps my students entertained. I only wish that there were more options in terms of games, and targets (for example polysyllabics, not necessarily by sound). i also wish little bee would expand to some grammar targets as well!

I love this platform but as a teacher the price is too high. Would much rather buy outright than pay yearly.

I am pretty baffled at the decision to move to a subscription instead of a one-time purchase with this new app. A subscription might be valuable if content were changing or updated every month, but this is not the case. I cannot justify spending so much regardless of my caseload. It’s a shame since there are some good features! My students liked the images for sounds in isolation. Another idea for making this app more reasonably priced could be to separate all the “extras” like emailing parents and the complex data options that don’t seem very functional or realistic for most SLPs.

I use this app every day with almost every client I have with speech production issues. It addresses isolated sounds ( vowels, consonants, and blends) up to conversation. At the isolated level, it has videos with hand cues. At the word level, there are flash cards, min8,Al pairs, and matching games. There are rotating and unique phrases and sentences and leveled stories. And then, at the conversational level, you can discuss scenes or answer questions. It is absolutely worth the investment!

Hive is a game-changing tool for pediatric SLPs working with speech sound disorders. As a longtime Little Bee user, I highly recommend this app for its new gems, including a diverse collection of games, comprehensive word lists with multiple vowel sound options, and targeted activities great to use with those with apraxia. I have articulation Pro and it’s a great app that I use for my child who has apraxia. I just happen to notice this app. I was stunt when I saw the cost of this app. For single parents like me, who are already struggling with their kids medical bills, seeing bed hungry developers exploit the disabilities of their children is beyond sickening. Your company is a true example of when money is more important than children with disabilities. Shame on you!!!!

I have been a huge fan of the Little Bee Apps for many years and use them throughout the day in my treatment sessions. I recently decided to try the Little Bee Articulation Hive and I am buzzing with excitement (and wondering why I waited)! I love the addition of isolation, syllable, phonological processes, blends, minimal pairs and the changes in the data has taken this app to a different level. As a busy SLP, I am all about working smarter...not harder and this software helps me do just that! I used it for the first time today with a 2 year old client. He was very engaged and was able to produce /f/ for the first time using the Funny Bunny that provides a cute visual that he loved and produced the /f/ independently after a model. There are so many great additions to this new software that I am excited to try with my other clients. Little Bee Articulation Hive (and all of their apps) are easy to use and work great in both the schools and private practices because everything you need in your clinical practice to achieve effective articulation intervention is in this software. It truly is the Bees Knees!
