This App is incredible. It brings images to life! Robert Stein has created a beautiful art experience using this app. Thank you! It’s amazing to see technology being used in such a positive way.

So easy to add more dimension to my artwork.

I love to make scrapbooks, so when I found out I could add videos I was excited!! They turned out so cool really like treasured memories! I realized at the top of the screen was a 50 bar counting down acting as a free trial. I really don’t think adding more uses is worth it especially for how it works as veiws. It is very glitchy and feels very scam like.

Doesn’t recognize anything I point it at, just stays on the make sure the whole artwork is in view 🙄

My school is doing this game and I know we’re gonna lose I hate this app, and I hate this school, I’m suing.

I have been using Artivive for several years now to create AR artworks. My first experiment with AR was a fun project with my daughter, who was 6 at the time. Since then, I have created AR posters, postcards, and T-shirts that are Artivive-enabled. This past year, the Hearst Corporation purchased a large-scale (6x8 foot) AR-enabled artwork that transforms on the wall with Artivive. In November of 2023, I published an AR book on Amazon, which is the first of its kind. It is called ”Metagraphs: Augmented Reality Art”. You can find it by searching my name on Amazon. Artivive is easy to use, both for the artist and viewer. I suggest you give it a try.

This is an amazing app that is so far ahead of the curve when it come to AR viewing and creation for artists. The app work very well, but best with a WiFi connection, decent lighting and at least 10% charge on your phone. Even in the worst of conditions, the app work flawlessly over 98% of the time. When conditions are optimize it’s beyond perfection.

They have this horrible business structure where their monthly plan is based on the views of the artwork… the problem is that there was 4 of us in my team testing this out. For $10 a month you can get 1,000 views. The app kept glitching so it would go in and out from being an image to being a video. Within 15 minutes of us just seeing if this works or not (more like 5 minutes of actual testing) the FOUR of us accrued 106 views. Excuse me?? The video going in and out because it was glitching or wasn’t detecting the images well accrued hundred more views. It just seems so unfair and unaffordable to justify the cost in this business model :/ I was a big fan of artivive and we were pitching bigger projects but we might have to start looking elsewhere… we thought 1,000 views would be like 1,000 unique viewers of the piece.
