Audio Transcribe - SmartScribe

Downloaded app., registered, began test recording, sought to see sample and was quoted a price that exceeds my own hourly rate. Attempted to contact via links in the registration email I received and got a “Sorry, you have been blocked.” I’m a technical consultant, so app and web based technology isn’t beyond my skills set.

It has been helping me to work and I save a lot of time, I don’t have to be typing, I use the transcriptions.

I had a very good meeting recording on this app and it was really useful.

SmartScribe is an excellent tool for medical providers, transcriptionists, and casual users to transcribe notes in a fast and efficient manner. When I tested it out with a sample medical note, it was pretty accurate but had a few errors here and there. Given the advancing AI technology, I can definitely see people relying on it more and more over the coming years. Transcriptionists should use SmartScribe for the following reasons: · Saves time and increases productivity– The best part about this tool is that it can save people so much time. Although it is prone to some errors, I think that even having a rough draft of the audio file will save transcriptionists from the hassle of typing most of it out. I can see myself running an audio file through this tool and then going over the audio myself and correcting any errors. · Accurate timestamping – The fact that the app automatically timestamps is another huge timesaver. If there are specific parts of the audio that are unclear, we can easily go to that point in time and read how the software interprets it. I love that you can replay specific parts of the text as well! · Reduces room for error – Humans are just as prone to error as technology is – maybe even more so at times. Putting audio files through this tool would serve as a great backup for transcribers to check their work. · Ability to interpret multiple dialects – I think this is a gamechanger! While this wasn’t possible before without human help, now technology can transcribe multiple languages/dialects. This tool will be able to help transcriptionists from around the world with their work.

After being told to login and create an account to transcribe, the app crashed 100% of the time when selecting the pencil icon for transcription.

It’s a great application. Very useful, practical and user friendly. Highly recommend it

I have already used this 3 times within one day and I highly recommend it. It has high accuracy of scribing and it’s impressive how it detects different speakers.

This app has potential for so many different uses. In my work, I attend meetings, go into the field for interviews, and work with educators that work with children. Whether referring back to conversations for accuracy, or practicing reading and performance skills, the innovative and intuitive approach of differentiating speakers, tracking the ratio of dialogue, and options for playback have so much utility. Love this app!

I highly suggest this app for corporations especially . Minimize time jotting down notes , record the meetings and save it to you iPhone and have the dictation option . Such a brilliant idea!
