Can you hire good developers to create a robust and handy app?

Paid in full via website, that doesn’t even offer free trial. Signed into the app - asks me to pay again but even more. What a scam

I‘ve subscribed to the app since I love the content. But the UE really sucks. It is not responsive (eg, it doesn’t flip to a horizontal view on my iPad so I always have to tilt my head to read the titles). I can‘t bookmark or filter content. Very often I can‘t find articles that I started listening to. BUT: I would still recommend this app just for the excellent articles. But please improve the UE, this is really not state of the art.

I’m quite conflicted about this app. The content is great. The available publications are top notch, the selected articles are relevant, the read-along feauture works well and the voice actors do a brilliant job - on a par with high quality audio books. However, the UI and customization features are pretty bad or nonexistent. My main problems are: i) No permanent filters: Out of the 50 publications I have a few favorites and regualrely want to listen to about half of them. However, it is not possible to permanently filter out or hide the ones I really don’t care for. ii) Discover page: Even though it seems to be possible to chronologically sort the main page by “date added to Adum” and “publication date”, the order is still all over the place and jumps back and forth. A simple view on what has been added each day is missing. Also, an option to cleare the articles already listened to from the discover page would make the browsing experience much better. iii) No bookmarking or archiving option for favorite articles. iv) Skipping forward / backwards is only possible in 15s intervals. Please make this customizable. v) Dark mode would be sweet. I really wanted to love this app and will give it another chance after the trail periode with a monthly subscribtion to see if the positves outweight the negatives for me. But with so many basic features missing, I am not sure this will happen.

I think the idea is great and the available content is worth the monthly subscription. The app is however very slow, unstable and buggy. Launching it takes a very long time and it crashes frequently. Difficult to make it work with headphones as the stop / play function only partially works.

A great app: Brilliant journalism that’s easy to listen to. I’ve had no problems with it and thoroughly enjoy it both on the road and at home. Well worth the money. Well done guys!

I’m not able to listen to one article within restarting the app at least once.
