AuroCast, the 24/7/365 online radio portal relaying music devoted to Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, aims to aid in making Divine music readily accessible to one and all. Live streaming music includes various devotional albums from Sadhaks of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Sri Aurobindo Society, Auroville and other artists including Mohan Mistry, Shantanu Bhattacharya, Vimala Bhide, Chinmayee Maheshwari and various others.
AuroCast is now also streaming readings of Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri by The Mother herself and also those by other sadhaks of Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville including Udar Pinto, Nirodbaran, Amal Kiran. Recitations of various poems of Sri Aurobindo would be streamed in the ‘Sonnets’ section.
Meditation Music and New year music as composed by The Mother - Mirra Alfassa and Sunil Bhattacharya are also streaming now as part of AuroCast. The Sanskrit Audio section includes the complete recitation of Srimad Bhagwad Gita in a shlok by shlok manner and various other Sanskrit prayers from artists of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Aurosociety and Auroville.
AuroCast is an attempt to bring some of the finest and soul stirring music related to Sri Aurobindo and The Mother on your mobile phone to feel Their light in a melodious manner. The mobile app for AuroCast has also been provided with a direct access to the music portal, AuroMusic which has the most extensive audio content on Sri Aurobindo & The Mother. Latest additions to the new radio stations on Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry and Auroville would be conveyed with the help of push notifications and Facebook which is embedded in the App.
