Autodesk FormIt

No entiendo las valoraciones negativas ni las comparaciones hacia esta app. Es genial y funciona perfectamente en lo que te ofrece. Lo único que le falta es un botón de cotas para poder visualizar capas donde ver lo que miden las líneas y las superficies que vas creando. De resto haces lo mismo que en cualquier otra app tipo CAD.

No pierdas el tiempo con esta Aplicación, está creada únicamente para tratar de suplir a la inefable Sketchup y mantener el monopolio fundamentalista de Autodesk, es inútil. La dictadura de Autodesk es implacable.

La app arranca pero se cierra sola antes de llegar a la pantalla principal

La app tiene estos problemas. 1. No tiene videos que te introducen, vas a su canal de YouTube y solo estan para la version de escritorio. 2. Interfaz muy mala. Creo que es una de las peores Interfaces más malas que he visto nunca, no se entiende nada. 3. Programa muy lioso. Nada tiene texto, solo iconos y si no te aclaras pues te apañas. 4. No hay botón de Rehacer (O no lo he visto por la mala interfaz) Creo que es muy mala app para gente que la usa en iPad. Creo que hay mejores alternativas.

Para quien busque modelar volúmenes sencillos (y no tan sencillos). Está muy bien, muy sencillo pero muy bien resuelto. Faltan algunas opciones para hacer modelados más complejos, pero con un poco de maña "geométrica" se pueden resolver. Muy bien en resumen, especialmente por ser el primer programa de modelado para el ipad, y encima gratuito. Un 10 por Autodesk.

Great capability for a mobile application, but any sufficiently detailed structure causes the app to crash during use, resulting in the loss of all progress. Even more infuriatingly, the app will crash anytime you attempt to save your progress if you’ve done more than 3-4 minutes of work. If I want to add to a rendering, I have to save every time I make a change to avoid overwhelming the app and causing it to crash. Even then, it often crashes upon opening for no apparent reason. It creates a “restored” version of any file that crashes, but these restored copies wont open or load and are therefore useless. I use a brand new iPad Pro with the highest capabilities so this shouldn’t be an issue. This app is fantastic for viewing renderings on the go, but not making them.

FormIt is just an amazing program that allows the user that spends a few hours fiddling with it to discover a new, fast way to create structures that look beautiful. I use FormIt in many ways but primarily to create perspective accurate shapes that are ultimately used in drawing/paint programs, like Procreate. I strongly encourage everybody to try this great piece of software to explore its vast capabilities.

To get anything more than making blocks on Google Maps. I need something more robust that doesn't crash. That let's me draw lines every once in a while. Thanks. But, no thanks.
