AUTOMATE PULSE 2

I’ve used this app in various homes for nearly 2 years now and reported a few bugs along the way. Customer support is exemplary and the UI is being continuously improved. There is a relatively new bug I am experiencing with 318 and the latest 318.1 versions on iPhone whereby the app no longer controls the blinds after it has been minimised or not used for a few minutes - it would respond to actions and show the blinds moving but the blinds themselves wouldn’t actually respond. The only way to fix this is to kill the app and re launch it after every time it is used to re gain control of the blinds. Despite this issue (which would frustrate most users) the app is pretty cool and I like the automation you can create with scenes and timers. Hence the 4 stars as I’m confident the bug described above will be resolved. I rarely have to manually adjust my blinds. It would be nice if there was a prominent low battery notification for the blinds. Also, I had a physical issue with a blind and it jammed up - a notification from the motor would be useful here.

When it works it us great. But every so often if looses its mind and forgets everything. Usually turning off and on solves this. But today nothing works- is it coincidence that this evening we switch to daylight saving time?? Had same issues with previous version of this item. Niw going to supplier and get the motors and wifi switched for another supplier. 12 months of fiddling and i have had enough.

Don’t t plug the ethernet cable in until AFTER setup. Once setup, works very well.

Have enjoyed these automatic shades for many years. Virtually trouble free, but when I do need some help, the customer support is outstanding. Kudos to Kirill. He was most helpful today and got my problem solved. Thank you for such great support.

Kirill was so helpful when I needed to readjust my shade settings. Love this app and the flexibility it provides.

I have had this system for 3 years. They have GREATLY improved all functions and reliability. I very rarely ever have to wait for the blinds to respond or even restart the hub any more. I did accidentally press the pairing button on the back today and had to call support… Kirill knew exactly what to do to get me back up and running in less than ten minutes!

I am always grateful to be able to speak to a live human person when I have technical trouble with my shades. I was disconnected from my original tech support person but luckily reached Kirill on my second attempt. He helped trouble shoot a very complex issue that occurred after my internet/ cable line was accidentally cut by my lawn service and had to be replaced. I tried unsuccessfully to trouble shoot on my own but could not successfully pair the hub and my internet to get it back online. It was a bit more complicated than I expected and I would not have been able to figure it out on my own. He patiently walked me through each step. Thank you Kirill!!

Give Kirill a raise!!!!!

After installing a new modem and router, I was not able to pair my shades with WiFi. I called customer service and was fortunate to talk to Kirill. He determined that my hub was outdated and ordered a Pulse2, which I received in record time: four days! Then had to contact him for help in setting it all up. He was patient and kind, his directions were clear and easy to understand, and as someone who has spent over 30 years in customer service — I am very impressed!!! Good service is becoming difficult to find these days. Outstanding is even more rare! Kirill is outstanding. The product is pretty cool too!
