Can’t even use it
I am a paid Avira prime subscriber and use a Apple ID login…. I can’t use that on this VPN. I basically wasted $14 a month as I can’t use the basics of my subscription!

The paid version is not worthy one star
I rarely review apps because generally the ones I use just work, not the case with this one. It in fact worked better when it wasn't upgraded to the paid version and needless to say I have already cancelled my subscription. A VPN app should be easy to connect and stay connected, this app does neither. I didn't even get an error message, whichever server I picked it would not connect. I use other apps from Avira and am very happy with them, I was even happy with the free version of this app, but have been bitterly disappointed by the paid version.
Doesn’t do what is says
Claims you can play games on servers from other countries. Well it didn’t work for me

Useless . When it’s activated the internet goes down and it doesn’t auto connect etc . Don’t bother .
Works well
This is a great app for the iPhone but struggles on the iPad. Can’t access bbc sport my main reason for having it. Can watch on the iPhone but says uk users only on the iPad. Shame. Thanks though.

Really great app ... so easy to install and use ... the VPN pro trial for a month was really good ... highly recommended

Avira and iOS do not go together...
Avira's Phantom comes with flaws, esp. the Pro version. Automatic protection of unsecured WiFi protection is not available, while this should be a key feature according to Avira's claims in the app and on their website. Annoying pop-ups suggesting in-app purchases both in the standard and the Pro app. Even once upgraded to Pro, you are prompted to upgrade. Customer Service (very inflexible and bureaucratic) acknowledged this is a flaw, but nothing is done about it. Avira might work well on Windows PC's, but with Apple's iOS they clearly struggle.
Works perfect
Great little app, does exactly what it says it does, easy to use and well worth it
