Terrible app - for an online only bank you’d think they would invest more in technology. Frequently can’t see any account information from the app. When I contact customer support I’m told to reinstall to get it working. I’m at the point I need to reinstall about once a week. Looking to move my account elsewhere.

They took the old app that worked great and made things animated and flashy, in the process, ruining the user experience. For example, every time I pull up my checking account, I have to verify my contact information. Huge hassle. Going back to old app AND their old website.
The secure passcode sent via text message does not work for the app. I am only able to access my accounts in a browser. When I do access the app in a browser a way Dow pops up stating the app is the better experience. Laughable.
The bank itself is okay (although I’ve had issues with getting my questions answered and being treated with respect on a couple of occasions). The app however, is the biggest frustration. This morning I couldn’t even login to my account. This wasn’t a password issue, the sign in button literally didn’t work. On other occasions I’ve had issues with the accuracy of my funds. Sometimes my recurring transfers don’t show up-this led me to making a double transfer one week because the app specifically said I had no scheduled transfers. The effectiveness and functionality of the app are a reflection of poor customer service. If it weren’t a hassle to switch banks, I’d strongly consider doing so. My banking should always be accurate, up to date, and accessible.
Great App just had trouble saying app’s icon on my phone.
Fast Reliable Easy to understand!
App is rough, tired of it asking to confirm my info every time I login, very annoying. Also, for some reason certain transactions do not show up which is odd. Everything about it is clunky.
After a recent update, within the app, I can no longer initiate a transfer of funds from an outside bank. I have to do it on the desktop version. The functionality of the app after updates does not necessarily improve… In addition, it is not clear where to send issues that users identify, so it is unclear whether these issues will be addressed.
I enjoy banking with Axos for several reasons but there is always something wrong with the app. - Their Evo virtual assistant is near useless. - Support takes forever to respond and I feel like they can’t read or understand my issues so there’s tons of back and forth. - Now, I can’t transfer money from an external account because it says “insufficient funds” even tho it clearly shows I have enough in the banking section. - And my interest rate was reduced by nearly half with no warning or communication or explanation Im basically one thing away from finding a new bank with no ATM fees and a usable app. It’s 2024 - you need a good app
