The BandHelper app works with your BandHelper account to share songs, set lists, chords, lyrics, stage plots, events, contacts and expenses with your bandmates, streamline your management duties and power your live show.
ALL THE INFO YOUR BAND NEEDS TO SHARE
Load your BandHelper account with your songs, set lists, lyrics, chord charts, reference recordings, videos, notes, events and contact info and they appear on all of your bandmates' mobile devices automatically. If inspiration strikes during a rehearsal, make a quick recording in the app and that will be synced, too. With this info at everyone's fingertips, you'll spend less time remembering what you talked about at the last rehearsal and more time becoming a better band.
YOUR COMMAND CENTER ON STAGE
The BandHelper app evolved from the popular Set List Maker app and shares the same on-stage functionality. Auto-scroll lyrics, play backing tracks and click tracks through separate audio ports or inter-app audio, and configure MIDI-compatible sound and lighting equipment as you move from song to song. You can control BandHelper with MIDI or Bluetooth footswitches, and link together multiple devices for screen sharing or remote control on stage.
TIME-SAVING FEATURES FOR BAND LEADERS
Scheduling gigs is a snap with BandHelper's automated email messages to ask your bandmates' availability, send updates if the details of a gig change, and send reminders before the gig. You can build and send stage plots with a drag-and-drop interface. And splitting the money after a gig is easy with BandHelper's features to track income (performance fees, merch sales, tips) and expenses (gas, food, rentals) and calculate each band member's share of the profit.
MOBILE OR WEB-BASED INTERFACE
Besides its native mobile apps, BandHelper includes a web interface for quick data entry. You can enter all your band's data from your computer, and BandHelper will sync it to your mobile devices automatically. The web interface also provides basic functionality for band members who don't have a mobile device.

Except
Great tool, except I’d like to add written notes with my Apple Pencil on my iPad to help when I’m singing harmonies. At band practice we may change something and there is no way that I have found to make a quick personal note. I can do that on Notability. I need an app that has features of both.For what it is, it’s good.
Difficult to use
They’ve made this app way difficult than it should be. Just want to scroll while doing live performance using two finger click like it said. I can’t find it even after looking at the help video 50 times. Don’t make stuff so complex it’s never good!
Does what it says!
I haven’t used any other similar stage plot apps, so I can’t really compare it with any of the others. I’m a longtime user of BandHelper and love it so I figured this app would be good as well and I was not disappointed. Like any other app, it takes a couple of minutes to figure it out with a little trial and error here and there but in a short time I was up and running and had a professional looking stage plot. I recommend this app! Thanks, Arlo.
Best App for chord charts + Midi
This app changed how my band and I play and share songs. Everything that used to be hard is now easy. Works great on my iPad and my phone. One of my all time favorite apps.

Love the app and the committed support of the developer! Such a powerful app, talk about value for a gigging musician! Bandhelper was the next logical step for Setlist Maker! Incorporating, midi, scheduling, finance, makes this app A Home Run! Arlo has created something helpful for busy musicians!
Outstanding!
Do yourself a favor and get this app! So many useful tools! I absolutely rely on it for every aspect of my gigging and practicing. Been a sub for many years now and have never regretted it. Only way I could benefit from it more is if I would utilize the MIDI functionality and the Finance portion. Two aspects I haven’t tried out yet, but might, some day.
Easy to get started, exciting Midi features
The main reason I was interested in this app was to take advantage of its Midi capabilities. I use a guitar synth that has a very clunky interface, (looking at you, Roland) and was looking for a way to streamline selecting patches, mostly between songs. It works perfectly for this application, connecting to my synth using a bluetooth midi adapter, and after spending some time setting up program changes in the app, my entire song list now automatically activates the correct patch for each song. One non-obvious thing also, you can add as many Midi Presets to a song as you want, and use that song as a menu to select presets when a song is not on the set list… Brilliant! If that was all it did, it would be worth the monthly fee to me, but it has much more capability than I’ll ever need. I have found it easy to navigate, and getting started was a breeze. I can see that its mainstream value is in set lists, with lyrics and chords in your device in many different configurations, but the midi stuff is the thing that seals the deal for me. Also I would like to compliment the developer on the outstanding tutorials and support docs; very complete and easy to understand.
