Bank Of Hawaii Mobile App

This new app is so bad. The old one was better. Almost a week and still can’t get into my bank account. Reset how many times and still nothing.

The new app is very buggy and slow. FaceID doesn’t work and requires constant text message verification. The previous app was much more responsive and reliable. Will be using the website version instead until this app is improved.

I've seen complaints from other people too, but I'm not having the best time with the new app. I tried to mobile deposit a check, and the app freaked out on me. First it was "We're having difficulties, if it persists contact us." I hit the Try Again button, and I got taken to a white screen. Tried to close the app and reopen it. The screen is white but is rapidly flickering to a black screen back and forth. I can't deposit the check anywhere else now because I wrote "For BOH Mobile Deposit Only." Frustrating experience!

New features are good. Access first time was trouble. BOH decided to change my user name but neglected to tell me about it. After many failed attempts to log in, including password resetting, a call to support eventually revealed the problem. Two days of lost time and hours of frustration. No call from promised escalation. Transition grade for BOH new app "F"

And I say that with all politeness. At this time I am literally reinstalling the app because my password which was 100% correct and works on my laptop will not log into the mobile app. Just one of the nightmares of the tech team that works on this and has been probably for 10 years

i liked the old app way better

When I was a youngster I use to frequent the video arcade regularly. It was my favorite place and I became a master at playing my favorite video game. The new app brings that same feeling. I frequent the new app regularly and I’m becoming a master at navigating myself around . I really am having fun

Have never had an app break down and not allow me to login so much. I have to delete and reinstall this app on average once per month.
