If it isn’t the slow loading times that have nothing to do with my internet connection (other apps are fine), then it’s the constant login loop which ends with me having to choose Guest mode to see anything, or the clunky UI. Why in the world you don’t have a dedicated account/profile link at the bottom navigation is weird, too. You have to navigate to Home and hope that you weren’t in an active search there to go to your account page.

I deleted my BN app bc it was so slow and unresponsive at times. I reinstalled it and now I can’t even log in. It just keeps returning to the log in page. So frustrating. Please provide your customers with a quality app.

The poor organization and layout of the app is something I can forgive. It’s the lag / freezing that are the most frustrating. I have abandoned checking out with hundreds of dollars worth of books in my cart (many times) simply because of how frustratingly slow the app is. I always return to the app later, praying the most recent update has fixed the issue. It never does. I could click on a drop down menu on this app, leave for work, come home, eat dinner, open the app, and STILL be waiting for it to respond. How does such a huge company run such a terrible app? Once again, I’ve exited the app with $200 worth of books in my cart to write this scathing review. How much money is this company losing through people abandoning trying to use the app and opting for Amazon or a local bookstore instead?

Another two more days added to the delivery schedule! Seriously. It never delivers on time or when it says it will.

Order two books to give this app a go. Can’t access app to check order. Have to go to my email click a link then manually input everything. Amazon it is, won’t buy from your site or app again. And why does it take 48 hours to prepare a shipment for two books?? Most books on Amazon arrive same day. But what do you expect from a company that uses minimum wage employees to create and manage their online presence. Don’t waste your time.

Won’t even let me login. I’ve had an account for years. I’ve tried resetting my password and that doesn’t help either.

Not sure why this continues to be an issue over the years. It is a fundamental failure for a business to put up roadblocks to customers.

Overall the app works enough for my needs until the app freaks out. I enjoy the convenience of having Apple Pay as an option however, either it can’t load items in my cart or like today won’t even let me in the app. Very frustrating.

Cannot even log in to the app now!!! WHAT?!? Now having to go to the online version to login and see orders, account status, etc…AWFUL app!!! ZERO stars!!! Fix it!!!

I LOVE Barnes and Noble and usually only shop for my books here. BUT THE APP NEVER WORKS. Updates, logging out and restarting my phone do nothing- FIX this! 🥺
