I played this game years ago, 2007ish loved it then love it now. It the perfect mobile game! So glad it’s still being worked on

remember when you bought a game and that was it? well here it is. it’s really hard to find a game today that isn’t full of seizure inducing graphics and in app purchases. f all that. i want to buy a game & then (novel concept to follow) PLAY THE GAME. this does just that. i’ve been playing this for a decade plus. i put it down for a while to replay the total war games. when i came back i was delighted to find literally hundreds of add on games developed by fans all for free! i’m on my 3rd campaign & it’s been months. i can’t recommend this game enough. i wish more developers would go back to this old school model.

I appreciate Battle for Wesnoth supporting Apple macOS and iOS. The music is lovely. This game is very fun and gives me hope that people can set aside their differences and make life enjoyable for everyone. There are commercial games that wish they had the quality of Wesnoth. Zero cost is great and free open source is also. A colossal amount of work went into this video game and it shows. Thanks very much!

wesnoth has had many years of development on almost all major operating systems. It offers many campaigns and alot of replay ability. it is such a gem to have available.

This game has challenging campaigns, that will have you playing for a while! Or, if you get bored of the classic game, you can download new campaigns made by players very easily!

A very well done game that brings me back to the classics. Great story and depth!

I’ve played this on a laptop and the iPad, challenged myself to the hardest levels and won, a super satisfying achievement. It’s like chess and requires lots of strategy. Playing it it again years later it still holds up.

played this a lot with my older brother as a kid and its nice i can still play it. only issue is the controls and how the game will randomly break sometimes. but everything else is really good. juet finished playing through yhe first two compaigns and i love the specific ways you have to train troops for later missions but st the same time you’re always sacrificing the majority of your troops to bring down your opponent, 4/5 would recommend but it is a little janky sometimes
