Per announcement at Adepticon 2023, development of this app will continue with release of “over 250 new mech sheets” once Battletech Mercenaries Kickstarter wraps up and moves to production stage. Great app regardless

I paid for veteran status so I could have the feature of mech builder Still don’t have it (since you haven’t built it into the app yet) but you have my money for a feature that doesn’t exist yet that I paid months ago. Far too many mech missing (especially clan mechs) Nice idea but too much is missing to be taking money for features that don’t even exist yet. Please deliver on your “selling” app before your reviews drop even more to the point that no one will even touch the app

Given the lack of updates and a useful pool of units, maybe take this off the store.

Anything new?

I was so hopeful for this app to function as promised, and initially it looked like it was off to a great start. Unfortunately it doesn’t work at all anymore. Freezes at the startup screen, and won’t respond after that. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing.

This had promise as an idea. That promise was never fulfilled. If Kickstarers prove anything, there is a market for a solid BT unit organization app. This clearly is not it.

I’ve purchased veteran status, and the wave 1 and 2 mechs were promised Q1, 2022. I don’t see them all. Bottom line, the app is looking really good and it will be a time saver once it has a full roster of mechs and the ability to import custom builds. Until then it’s just an interesting novelty that won’t find its way into my group’s campaigns.

Where are all the mechs? Hundreds of Clan mechs, and only five are currently in the app. FIVE! Really like the app otherwise, but this feels like an Alpha build to showcase what might be done at some point in the future… Veteran Upgrade is a waste of money because there are no mechs to use it with!!!

Ans a POOR SHOWING at that. You were supposed to be the Chosen One! You supposed to SAVE Classic Battletech, not destroy it!

Edit 1-12-22 So adding a star as like all the recent updates. App is coming along nicely. Really hope to get more mechs soon, as with the limited choice of mechs currently hampers the ability to use this app fully for games that we want to use mechs not contained currently. Will continue to update rating and feedback as updates become available.. ** initial comments below pre December 2021** Cannot purchase veterans upgrade so cannot use fully. Also very limited mech choices. Also stylization of UI is a bit remedial to be honest. To clarify I enjoy simple and effective interfaces, but this just looks really bland and “cheap” which means very little effort was put into decent styling. When things look cheap, the perception is that they are not well put together. Please enable veterans purchase, as not very useful as is. Update** I am updating as veterans upgrade is now usable for iPad. Changing my rating to 3* currently, as the veterans adds enough to warrant the added star for now. If the currently mapped items for roadmap come out, I will update review further, as one of the key ones will be getting more mechs into the database for use. Since there are still only 3 pre made pilots to use ( from what I can see) would be great if we can add our own pilots ( which you can name and assign skill values already) but also assign traits like the pre made pilots. So having that option for full custom pilots and also more pre gens that would add more flavor. One question is are there any plans to add option for Alpha Strike sheets? One cool thing that would make this app great is the ability to build and store your own mechs or modify mechs. I know that may be a stretch but ever since heavy metal pro ended the BT community is missing good mech builder. Maybe as a separate app that we could then import? ( that is my wish list item)
