This app is awesome! It is the only app I could find that’s completely free. There are no features hidden behind a paywall and there are zero ads in the app! Amazing support and care by the developer. There are tons of features in this app and almost all of them are customizable. You will never have to guess how to make that perfect cup/shot again when using this app. It’s super easy to use and navigate around, the sharing feature is fantastic. It simply shares an image of your brew with all the stats and doesn’t send a link to download the app, a small feature I love! I enjoy the ability to add pictures of what I’m using. There are so many features in this app I haven’t gotten to yet, and the ones I have used are great. Definitely a must-have app

I have tried a few apps and while many of them have some cute features, nothing comes close to the breadth of customization and integration that this app offers. I primarily use it for espresso and I’m on a simple setup with a GCP but this app grows with me after time I add a price of equipment for tweak a variable. The developer seems super knowledgeable and in touch with the coffee geeks. They’re constantly making USEFUL updates and offering more customizable parameters for us to tweak. Can’t recommend this app highly enough!

I’ve had this app 10 minutes, I’ve done only 1 brew, and I can already tell this app is leagues beyond the other available profiling and brew note taking apps.

Update: Thanks for the response! I like how deep you can go while keeping default values, making use-on-the-go very easy and not distracting from the actual code making. I would love to have a graph showing my ratings in dependance of various parameters. Otherwise, this app works well and does most of what I was tracking in an excel file before, but more conveniently.

I have an Acaia Pearl S, and have used other apps that can use this scale with BT paring for flow rate and just help me keep consistent brews. I found this app through Reddit and thought I’d give it a try, I like it better for keeping track of my brews because it keeps grinders, grind size and other things in memory for past brews. The issue I have is with scale paring. It’s a nightmare. The scale will disconnect and connect automatically, a pop up will appear stating that this is common with iOS devices and to just reconnect it, the issue still persists. If you don’t clear the pop-up message immediately, it will stack on top of one another and the screen will eventually go black, and you need to clear every notification to use the app again. So I just don’t use my scale, which is the main reason for the app for me. Other apps don’t have connectivity issues for me like this one does. It would be nice for the current brew you are working on, you could save the weight of the vessel, so once you finish, just add the total weight and I’ll find the difference, but you can only do that all at once, would be a nice addition imo. The app as a journal is pretty good though, some minor tweaks to the ui would be nice and the scale connectivity issues resolved, and it would be fantastic.

Great job by the developers to ensure that this remains a clean and focused app without unnecessary clutter. The ability to customize the workflow to exactly what I need without any other noise is incredible and has earned the app a firm part of my mornings. Keep it coming!

I am just getting into the world of making espresso at home. I had started a journal to record all of my brewing and grinding parameters that quickly became cumbersome. This app makes dialing in espresso so much easier and fun! Amazing app, highly recommend to all coffee enthusiasts!

Really simple, kinda has that “UI designed by a programmer” feel (also guilty of this) but lets you record a wealth of information. Great choice if you want a technical, utilitarian, no frills coffee journalling app.

This app is amazing. It has just about every feature you could want, from beginner to extremely advanced data collection. All FOR FREE??? I’m just so surprised at how well thought out and well made it is. If there was a paid tier or subscription to support the devs I’d buy it in a heartbeat, this is hands down the best app for any data collection and storage.
