I’ve gotta start by saying this is a great idea on paper. The issue is that hard working musicians ultimately must concede to whatever venues want to pay them. If not, the venues will just find an amateur who isn’t a career musician who’ll play for $50 for 3-4 hrs. That’s not how this industry works. With the same logic, I should show up to the bar and be able to negotiate what drinks or meals cost. With this app, gone are the days of setting your own prices. This app favors venues NOT musicians. Don’t let venues control the industry. BEWARE!

The app is good and I rated it 3 stars to point out how SoundCloud URLs simply do not línk to my artist’s profile. This is frustrating and needs to be fixed. I’ve typed in the URL every way possible.

BeatGig is an amazing company. First and foremost they get DJ’s paid, furthermore if there is any issue a rep will contact and try their very best to figure things out for the better. I appreciate that! Great Job Beatgig, keep doing your thing!

Payments are not on time support is amateur.

We were very skeptical about being paid through this mystery app. Although it took longer than we’d hoped to be paid, we were paid a few days after our show. And we received a personal apology call from the folks at Beatgig apologizing for the time it took to be paid. They are learning and growing and trying to improve. So that’s all anyone can do. We’d gladly work with them again.

BeatGig is one of smoothest apps I’ve ever used and it makes booking talent incredibly easy. Definitely my go to app for this. Excited to see what’s next!
