Love this so much, I recommend it to EVERYONE, I love the small incentives for walking and it motivates me so much to walk to see the points go up. I really enjoy after a long walk thinking ‘wow, my better points is bound to have got some good points’ yes it does take a while to get a voucher because it’s a walking app, but that’s fine because I’m not expecting anything big from it. Just love it

So I recently created a waking group for mums in my area and they all love the app. we walk daily and we love an extra motivation to walk, points that can be redeemed 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Downloaded this app as I saw it advertised everywhere (Sheffield). Unfortunately it is a bit of a waste of time due to how much you actually have to put into receiving points. To add I was logged out randomly to which I have decided to uninstall the app.

I expected this app to sync my activity info from Garmin, Strava, Health app. But no. I’d have to have the location on. This kills my battery and could leave me stranded on a hill side without a working phone. Not for me.

Started off okay however the app was super slow, drained the battery, and sometimes doesn’t register movement. The biggest gripe was, and the reason that I deleted the app, was that they stopped the ability to earn points and instead of being up front and clear they hid the announcement in unrelated app messages. Seems pointless having an app which encourages movement with rewards and the remove the incentives.

I need to be able to track my activity on my Apple Watch. I don’t always take my phone with me and would prefer if the Apple Watch could help track my activity better.

The app is so glitchy that it’s almost comical. The latest is that my points haven’t changed since July despite regularly exceeding the recommended active minutes. Note to developers - must try harder.

I joined the BetterPoints as it’s an excellent way to gain points and rewards for doing your daily activities. I walk for miles each day and my reward in points is an extra little bonus to the health aspects of my fitness regime. The App is so easy to use and the Help desk people send replies back straight away if you have a query . I’ve recommended this to all my friends . Thanks BetterPoints

As people have said before doesn’t get a lot of journeys right only seems to record parts of my train journeys and gets buses and car journeys mixed up

The app is great for motivation, but it does drain the battery quicker than without the app installed.
