Good app with a lot of potential
The creation of this app was a very good idea however, I think it needs certain Improvements for it to reach its full potential. The quick species search and the ability to download the bird calls/songs for offline use is fantastic. There is the need to be able to organize the recordings though... It would be great if we could create a folder on a particular geographical area of interest, say for example “Peru”. Then within the folder “Peru” we could put the downloaded bird calls/songs. Even more useful would be a folder for every bird species. Example: a folder called “Spectacled red start”. Within this folder would contain the different songs downloaded from the app as well as the calls. Lastly, it would be great if we could search for specific bird songs/calls that we downloaded instead of having to scroll. It would also be useful if we could filter the downloaded bird songs/calls into taxonomic order or alphabetical order. To sum up, this app has great potential and needs more organisation. I think that if we could first create folders based on geographical regions. Ex “Peru” then within this folder, have folders for every bird species, Ex: “Spectacled red start” that contained every song and call downloaded. Lastly being able to search for the downloaded recordings and filter them in taxonomic order would also be very useful. I hope this feed back is helpful and that we will see some improvements in the near future. Sincerely
