Bird Id - British Isles birds

It’s a good that that could be excellent. Needs more photos of the same bird but in flight, on the ground and in water where applicable. Also photos of both males and females. Still lacks common birds such as Little Egrets. Could also update where you ID a bird you can filter to date not just geographical location. Has not had any new photos or significant updates for 9 years! they don’t respond to emails or feedback. I wonder if they read these reviews?

I’ve had this app for several years, and I really enjoyed using it. The only criticism I add is that I wish there were more photos of the birds. For example, on ground and in the air photos. Some birds have both on the ground and in the air photos, but others don’t.

I've had this app a couple of years now. Sent feedback to the developer because it crashes every single time you try to edit the location of a sighting. It's something they're working on. Two years later. No change; still crashes.

Downloaded the app to try and help me identify birds. Very disappointed, thought the bird I was looking at was a little egret, can’t find it anywhere on the app had to go home and look in my readers digest book of birds.

I had hoped this app would have plenty of photos to identify birds, disappointingly, there is only one and sometimes two.

The personal sightings function is worse than useless. It crashes if you try to edit a location, and won’t let you add your own photo despite this being a function offered. Dates are in German. This is a shoddy app that I cannot recommend, and I wish I could get my money back...

I really like this app, but the ability to edit locations of sightings causes the app to crash. So if I tried to enter a sighting after I got home from a walk I cannot, and it will only put the sighting as being in my current location. If you press ‘edit location’ the app crashes and force quits.

It is an very good app and makes identifying easy yet when I try to edit my location it takes me of the app. It has all the scientific names and lots of identification helps. Overall a great app

I am really enjoying this app and especially the fact it supports family share. For the most part it is completely intuitive and so great for kids to use as well as technophobes like me. I have read the help section and it’s clear enough in all but one aspect. I have not been able to establish the white tick on species I have logged and nor does the sightings map appear to show the percentage species spot that n the top left as indicated in the aforementioned help section. If anyone wants to let me know what I am missing then please do. All in all a welcome and valuable addition to my apps list.
