BlockYT for Safari

Не работает в Safari. Хотел, чтобы исчезли Shorts из истории поиска, но этого не произошло. Так же не исчезли видео с домашней страницы.

Шорты тоже блокируются, а они главная боль ютуба

Очень странно. После установки и активации приложения ютуб как и прежде. Не ясно в чем причина.

То что нужно чтобы не отвлекаться на мусорный контент!

This app succeeded in blocking out the YT shorts for me however, there was also an option in the app that would block out the comments sections of videos for me and that’s where the problem is. Comment sections are as equal of a problem as shorts are. The app is unable to block the comment sections out despite checking if everything is in place and refreshing the pages over and over again. Please fix the comment section problem for me.

Google likely modified the YouTube website so now it blocks all videos on the main feed from showing. You can see videos under subscriptions, but shorts show up so it’s not doing anything there. If you click the shorts tab at the bottom shorts play, but that’s not really a downside. The problem is it doesn’t do anything to block shorts. The best I can tell it only blocks the home feed completely but nothing else changes.

I’m still seeing comments, side bar clutter and recommendations.

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed and I’m looking forward to gaining back the time I’ve been wasting on shorts

Does this work in the YouTube app or only in safari browser? If so, it’s not working for me at all. Still see recommendations and shorts after following installation instructions in the app :(
