BlueBot

Dear developers… the cleaning map of my XBOOST XB2 is frozen and doesn’t update anymore. How can I fix this? Deleting and re-installing te app didn’t work. Can we expect an update for this issue?

The BlueBot xtreme is a great little vacuum bot, the app is ok *when* it works properly. It’s not very intuitive to use, but once you get the hang of it, the problem remains that it’s glitchy. It will randomly forget virtual walls sometimes; it fairly regularly throws up an error message mid-clean after which you have to restart the app, and it has then forgotten what has and hasn’t been cleaned already; or it will lose contact with the bot and the map of where it’s been mid-clean. Update: since early 2025, the app constantly forgets its maps, even though they are still there in cleaning history. It has to re-scan the entire house, if you briefly pause it while doing that it forgets everything and has to start again, and there’s no guarantee it will remember the map if it actually completes a full sweep. It’s ridiculous to have such an awful app for such an expensive device.

Apparaat is geweldig, maar de app is matig. Negens een handleiding waardoor veel gepuzzel. Handig zou zijn als je deuren kunt toevoegen, als nu meestal een deur dicht zit vind hij die ruimte later niet meer terug en moet je hem handmatig daar plaatsen.

Sinds paar weken denk na de update valt hij continue van de wifi af. Waardoor ik hem niet meer aan kan zetten als ik niet in de buurt ben. Moet hem na elke beurt opnieuw verbinden. Heel irritant.

UPDATE: Sinds gisteren totaal onbruikbaar geworden doordat de app niet meer functioneerd. Het begon met dat ie de kaart kwijt was, opnieuw het huis laten verkennen, echter na iedere wijziging in de kaart verdwijnt alles direct weer in de app. Dramatische app met veel bugs, heb de stofzuiger inmiddels 2 jaar in het bezit en er is nog geen enkele update uitgebracht, lijkt erop dat de fabrikant geen support meer geeft. Ontzettend slecht voor zo een dure stofzuiger! Inmiddels geeft de stofzuiger ineens constant aan dat hij niet kan navigeren, verwijderd de map en keert terug naar basisstation. Wat een slecht apparaat!

I have my Blaupunkt xtreme robot vacuumer now for over a year and since the app does not remember the map any longer, I have not been able to use it much. Each time I have it auto run the apartment. If only the app were usable.

Stofzuiger werkt prima, maar geregeld loopt de software vast en vergeet hij mijn hele kamer! Vervolgens krijg ik geen nieuwe kamers meer toewijzen ‘no room on the current map, try again later’ Al meerdere keren aangekaart, toen kreeg ik een nieuwe stofzuiger… maar ja, dat is het probleem niet.

APP faalt vooral door ontbreken duidelijke manual. Youtube filmpjes zijn te simpel en wordt je niet wijzer van. Ontbreekt aan meerdere maps storage functie terwijl dat wel als verkoopargument wordt getoond.

This app wasn’t been updated in so long and it is very disappointing. Lost of the issues : - I have had to create a new map multiple times, the previous one deletes itself for no reason. Same happens for “no sweep” spots. - In my new apartment, I haven’t been able to partition the space. - The app is also very buggy and doesn’t allow to track the robot properly. - It is also not responsive to change the fan strength. For the price we pay for these devices, I am baffled at the service. I have tried to contact the brand with no response.
