Blueriiot - Blue Connect

This takes the guessing out of trying to read test strips that don’t seem to be all that reliable. I was tired of trying to read different brands of test strips done at the same time that were giving me different results. With the cost we spent on purchasing a heater for our pool, and being told our heater would be ruined in a matter of 6-12 months if the chemical balance wasn’t done properly, I decided to spent the extra money on this. Makes everything easier and is much more accurate. I really wish it came with the extender, you aren’t able to take readings from inside of the house, you have to be standing right next to the pool to get a reading. I’ve also read that battery replacement is expensive on a yearly or bi yearly basis. If you have a pool without a heater and don’t want to spend the extra money, test strips will be easy enough. If you have a heater and need the balance to be perfect, or are trying to run a hot tub this is well worth the money. Will more than likely be buying another one eventually for the hot tub.

Works good but only lasts about 3 seasons mine stopped working was told to replace battery worked for two days and is now dead Warranty should be way longer than one yr And should show all the readings like the pool stick shows you

Awesome device. Just activated it as I have had it for almost a year. Our pool just finished installation late November. Definitely recommend it. Takes the guess work out.

I find the Blue Riiot to be a fantastic device. I am in central Canada, yet the SigFix network works, so with that I get at least one reading a day. I have it installed in line, with the equipment being just on the other side of the wall from where I have the extender plugged in, so I get a reading every hour over wifi. I calibrate it each season and find that the PH matches the pool store perfectly, which is great since it is the PH that I want to track closely. The salt sensor is more accurate than the pool store, which can vary widely. The ORP sensor is a fantastic way to track the effectiveness of the chlorine instead of just the amount of free chlorine. My pool is crystal clear all summer even though the pool store tells me my free chlorine is less that 1 ppm. I just make sure the ORP gets into the blue range each night (salt cell chlorine generator runs during the day, add liquid chlorine when I need to after heavy use/rain) I highly recommend this product although I would be happier if the replacement parts were not so expensive. As for the app itself, it warms you when the sensor need replacing , based on a two year time from activation. Where I live, I can only use the pool four months of the year. It would be nice if the app made replacement recommendations based on actual use. A battery life expectancy would also be helpful, based on the current voltage of the battery.

Très performant et précis! Il serait utile de pouvoir modifier les valeurs cibles pour chacun des paramètre de l’eau! Les valeurs cibles que vous proposez ne sont pas celles recommandées par le fabricant de mon spa. Aussi il serait utile de modifier le dosage des produits chimique que vous recommandez. Entre autre, le ph- et le ph+ que vous suggérez est moins puissant que celui que je retrouve à mon magasin local.

Après plusieurs années de contrôle à l’aveuglette, je suis très satisfait de l’eau depuis 2 années que je l’utilise et sans ajouter trop, c’est merveilleux pour le chauffe-eau.

Je reçois des avis et je dois les compiler selon notre règlementation. Mais je ne vois pas comment je peux le faire

Can somebody fix the app??? Was working fine until yesterday when was made an update and now is marking only error loading?!?!?

This device is amazing! The test strips are simply impossible to know if you truly are in the appropriate range or not. I got a new liner and warranty is void if chemicals and ph are not kept in range. I was tired of the guessing game so I got the Blueriiot. Am I ever glad I did!!!! One look at my phone and I know exactly where I am. Better even, if I am not in the range, it tells me how much to add of which chemical!!! I just love it. Absolutely worth the price

I bought a Blue Connect Plus during the COVID-19 pandemic because the local pool supply stores were not offering water tests. Using test strips and matching colours to determine the readings I knew wouldn’t be very reliable. Wow, was I glad I purchased one. Super easy to use and the Bluetooth between phone app and unit allows you to take a water test anytime you want. Pool was sparkling clean all summer and I used way less chemicals compared to when I had my water tested at the pool supply stores.
