Bond Home

Works great with and without Home Assistant. Very happy with the purchase!

Either the Bond Home app is junk or the Bridge…or both. I am trying to set up Bond Home to work with my remote motorized outdoor shades from SelectBlinds. To my great dismay, the app’s open/close controls work only at random…totally unreliable. And that is with the SelectConnect Bridge, remote and shade located within a few feet of each other…and my home network signal is at full throttle. But an even bigger problem is I cannot set up schedules (which is the primary reason for purchasing the Bridge) because the app will not Save my iPhone’s selected time zone…nor will it allow me to set it manually. I have performed a hard reset on my iPhone and have reinstalled the app to no avail. I have contacted customer support through the app but am still awaiting a reply. Frustrating.

Took a little while before I configured my two fans for the app., easy to configure and use. Able to control the fans/lights from anywhere.

We use these for our retractable screens and it’s amazing to be able to access the screens from anywhere in case of a storm or whatever reason. Super easy and works great.

Once set up, works very well.

Makes everything easy to control in one app

We’ve had the app for a couple of weeks now and it has worked exactly as it should. Being able to raise and lower our solar shades from our phones is very convenient.

Works well. No issues. Very happy with how it integrates with our custom shades in each room.

Like the tech overall , took a little bit to figure out how to setup and there’s quite a delay between pressing a button and equipment moves

No complaints about the functioning of the app and bridge. It does what you expect. I do wish there was a way to rename commands in the app. For instance, the fan lights show up as “fan uplight” and “fan downlight” which is weird. But still functional. The other thing is I wish there was better support for fireplaces. I have a Superior brand FP and because the remote uses the same button for different functions, the bond app can’t be programmed. For instance I have to press two buttons in sequence to turn on the fire. Bond doesn’t support that. Still love it though as it is the best way to control screens, fans, and shades from different manufacturers!
