Fix it. I’ve used it for years, great. Now it says I cannot add any more entries and need to move to paid option. I’m on the paid option. All website links redirect to a dodgy as ‘f’ website. Others have also commented similar I see. Avoid…unless this gets fixed it’s no use. I’ll be looking to migrate to something that works - you could maybe let everyone know if you’re trying to fix it, tho?
I bought this app a few years ago to record my collection. Just tried to enter a new purchase and it says I’ve used my 3 book trial and need to purchase. Why do I need to purchase again?
I’ve relied on this app for YEARS. It really helps me to remember what books I’ve got and which I’ve read. But for the second time, I’ve found I can’t add any more book entries because it thinks it’s a trial version. It’s NOT - I bought it years ago. Please fix asap!
After years of working perfectly (over 2,400 books catalogued exactly as I want them, arranged in collections etc.) suddenly a serious problem. I run it separately on my iPhone and my iPad. It still works fine on my iPhone. But on my iPad in the home Books page now when I click in Filter to change the Collection, the Collection list comes up blank The same thing happens with the Tag Collections. I can still see the entire list under Title or Author etc but no Collection categories. I've shut down and reloaded the app, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and restored the database. Nothing works. iPad Pro version iPadOS 15.1
There is no support for this app and emails go unanswered. I made the mistake of buying cloud storage and I still can't get it to work and there's nobody to ask. Ta.
I have been using this app for a number of years, and am a beta tester. The app is currently testing cloud back up and support. The first few tests showed a number of problems, but these have now been addressed and the app is working extremely well. In my opinion it’s the best on the market, and I have tried a lot of them
Very happy over several years until recently .. “I can no longer edit my notes. Only a blank field appears as if this was the 1st time I was making an entry. I don’t want to lose my original notes” I raised a support enquiry a week ago but have heard nothing. Editing Author Notes wipes your original notes
Fantastic resource for keeping track of books read and to read
Latest update seems to have fixed the problems. This app has always been, in my opinion, the best book catalogue app out there and having been forced to use a different one for the last month or so has confirmed that. Now I just have to bring it up to date!
Wow. I have used this app for the last few years, painstakingly added my book collection to it. And now they offer a cloud back up service, for 99p a month. Brilliant, I think, saves the faff with Dropbox. I pay up, I sync to the cloud... and now my database is gone. “Corrupted”. The backup from Dropbox no longer downloads at all. So thanks for wasting a huge amount of my time and destroying what was a brilliant book database.
