Bouncer: Spam Text Blocker

Move SMS directly to spam folder based on a simple blacklist. Everything happens on the phone, no messages are forwarded to a server (as far as I understand). Simple but effective- exactly what I was looking for to deal with spam SMS sent without a number, where I was not able to filter them with iOS standard tools. Now I add blocked company names or blocked words to the list and the SMS go straight into spam. Thanks for this useful piece of software!

Set rules and still get spam messages. App is useless and waste of money

It doesn’t work. At all. It you put in a work do block it just doesn’t work. Period.

No “Unknown and Spam” in IOS18.1.1 so cannot activate app! How do I get a refund? Just purchased.

I finally got a filter to work and it filtered the message into a separate folder, but also pushed the message to my inbox. What’s the point???

Why have multiple rules when you can just write a gigantic one? 😀

After receiving literally thousands of political requests over the past three , I installed bouncer. Nancy Pelosi has apparently found a way around it. Two others have found a way around this. The app is not working as represented and does not allow a refund. Bad investment, I guess I received a message flashed acrosss my screen that the developer had responded but my search for the response came up empty. That feature apparent;y doesn’t work well either.

Today this app blocked 24 unwanted text messages. I was allocated a number which obviously was signed up for some pretty crazy spam. Using the messages I was able to create unique filters and it has change my phone experience. I’m not sure why this function isn’t a standard feature on iPhones. But this app is worth way more than $3.

I never write reviews, even if I should. My number was apparently register for something political, which led to receiving on average about 60 text messages a day for the election. This app and 5 keyword filters have brought this down to zero. Absolutely love this app.
