Является ли Brennan фейковым или мошенническим?
🤔 Качество приложения Brennan спорное. Некоторые пользователи довольны, в то время как другие сообщают о проблемах. Рекомендуем ознакомиться с отдельными отзывами для получения более полной картины.
I own three Brennan B2 and all are basically expensive paper weights. The device itself is great but Brennan struggles with front ends that either don’t work at all (the Apple phone app) or are cludgy at best (web interface). Communication with the B2 seems to be the problem. This phone app is constantly losing connection with the B2. If Mr Brennan could solve the front end control problems, he’d have a winner….but after struggling with my B2s (interfaces) for years I’m not holding my breath. This iPhone app simply does not work.
Beautiful.
Features and functions work beautifully for me. Great all in one software!
Current 3.0.1 version functions well
Current 3.0.1 version functions well. Has become my primary means of controlling my B2. Great for browsing CDs stored on B2. Shows cover art and tracks.
Does not work well
Most of the advertised functions simply don’t work since the app is unable to maintain a connection with the Brennan device. Please remove or radically revise, replacing with something that gives a fraction of promised functionality
Help! 2002, your apps are calling!
If apps had existed in 2002 on a Blackberry 1.0, this would have been the functionality.
- fails to connect to device repeatedly
- when it does connect, the U in UI is Unusable
- UI on device also needs blacksmith support
I did the software upgrade (using USB, ugh!), no help.
I should have read the reviews more thoroughly before purchasing.
Please fix this app.
It simply doesn’t work. Constantly seems to lose connectivity with the B2 device. The online browser app is far more reliable and stable, at least on an iPad and computer.
Love the machine, hate the app
So the b2 ripper is exactly what I have been looking for to digitize my CD collection! Easy to use and works flawlessly so far.
The app not so much. Seems to have to reconnect every time I use it and 9/10 it doesn’t, especially on my iPhone. The layout is a bit wonky but that’s for another discussion.
Would appreciate for future updates to 1. Be able to reconnect right away and 2. Be able to play music from it even if not on home network (assuming I can connect to my b2).
Understand this is a continual work in progress and look forward to the innovation for improving.
Thanks
Great app with regular updates
The app works great at being able to play whatever is on Brennan, hundreds of free streaming radio, and YouTube. Granted it’s no BlueOs operating system, but for a small private company, the software does well. Simply having thousands of my CDs ripped in lossless uncompressed WAV files is good enough for me. Everything else is extra.
Wanted this to be good
This app lets you use the Brennan B2 machine and make your iPhone the controlling device for the machine. Both the machine and the app are designed by technical people in the user interface really is not very good. Not going to get into a review of the B2 machine here you can see those elsewhere, but the interface on the app which could’ve made the machine so much easier to use does not do so. It’s difficult to navigate through the CD collection that you’ve uploaded to the machine. It’s also very difficult to navigate through Internet radio, potentially a huge global resource, but you have to go down the same command path over and over, many of the same steps repeated, to get to the place you want to and we’re just at before. They just need to invest more to make this app work, same for the user interface on the machine itself with anybody at Brennan is reading this. The potential of the B2 is fantastic the usability of it is just not so good. If you want to make a hobby and have many many hours of time to spend learning it and using it it’s good but if you’re really after some thing that makes it easy to access your vast musical collection this is unfortunately not it
Instructional images don’t actually match the images on my screen
Egad! I’m so tired of searching and searching, then applying over and over and over again to no effect because the diagrams don’t match the Web UI screen. I’m also tired of realizing that I’m engaged in insanity by trying some more.
