Paid on the app and the balance on my meter never increase even after time. Rang them and and wasted time trying to sort this out only to get through to some woman who said she had added the credit but again this never happened and my bank balance shows the money leaving my account. Absolutely criminal.

I have been unable to top up my gas an electric since the end of October, I’ve tried to call several times, and each time the wait to speak to an assistant has been over 2 and 1/2 hours! It also isn’t possible to see how much credit I have in my electricity account, and it isn’t visible if the government payments of £66 have gone in each month and when. With a time like this when people are so concerned about their usage and the amount they are using each day, and scared to turn the heating up past 17• I think you should have better customer service so your customers can speak to you to get some answers.

Balances are never very accurate and the smart box forever looses signal so you sometimes miss when an update is needed.

If it worked like it should it would be great. You have to shut it down and log back again everytime you want to use it. It should show you your balance not what it was a month ago. Many a bug in the app.

App on phone does not show amount of credit for electric (pay as you go) Have contacted BG several times, no response at all.

Seem to use paying a lot more for electricity. When is the best time to use electricity
