BroodMinder Lite

They have vastly improved this app. Real-time mode is especially useful. I appreciate seeing the charts without going to the web.

When I go to real time it continually asks if I want to add a note. I just updated it hoping my purchase would work. Useless app and product at this point.

This app functions well; it reads sensor data and graphs, provides for export....no problems there... Wishes: I wish it could find and retrieve data from devices a little faster. I wish i could hit one button and grab the data from all nearby devices in my bee yard.

Barely adequate to collect the data from the sensors. Requires 8 clicks and a lot of waiting to upload the data for each sensor. Desperately needs a sync-all and upload-all button. Poor graphing support. No grouping of sensor data by hive.

Great concept product. I have enjoyed following hive weight and temperature. Also, good customer service. My internal thermometer malfunctioned and BroodMinder quickly sent me a replacement at no cost. If you are curious about the broodminder just get it!

This program crashes in SQL when you try to delete a gen 1 device. And where's the rename function.

Living in the NW provides challenges to honeybee enthusiasts. The low temperatures and high humidity require additional caution. The BroodMinder TH (temperature/humidity) monitor rests nicely on the top of the frames near the hive's ball of bees gathered for warmth during winter months. The Bluetooth device provides great data that is now viewable on beekeeping.io, a web based application that graphically displays the data derived from the BroodMinder device and external data for comparison. So a great asset to determine the hives status during a time when opening for examination would incur damage to the bees.
