Absaloutely loved this game as a young 'un... Many happy hours spending my school lunch money feeding that wee slot. Very happy with the, extremely accurate version of the original. Auto fire is a great addition (It's awfully fiddly using a small screen to represent moving, jump and fire). Bit mean time limiting the adverts for coins... Don't see the point. Otherwise it's a great blast from the past
I made it to stage 84 🤗. Excellent, VERY addictive, fun. One of my favourite games from my childhood. The only downside is that you can’t play it in 2 player mode with a friend.
Pretty accurate to the original, very playable, love the autofire option (the Quickshot II Turbo joystick was a game changer over the MkI). So far, I haven’t completed it yet, but I did on the C64 back in the day - practice, practice, practice, I will get there! One observation, I miss the positive feedback of pushing the joystick left, right or up; you just don’t get that from sliding your finger on a touch screen. As a result I find, and it’s probably a reflection on me as a player, that sometimes Bubb doesn’t go where I want him to … One opportunity for improvement, although it may not be true to the original, would be to display the level you died on at the end screen. It there when you’re playing a level, but I’m usually too busy to notice, and I’d like to know what my last level was, please?

One of my favourite games growing up with my Commodore 64. Works really well and seems to be more sweets than I remember which is nice.
The game is great but the adverts you are forced to watch are terrible. Repetitive, too long and completely unethical, promoting gambling. I am losing my patience with this game and I expect to delete it soon due to the pathetic and annoying lack of ethical standards by whoever owns this application. Would be so hard to offer the game with shorter ads…?
