I’ve always wanted to connect with complementary skillsets in my hometown but without constant networking or a digital platform to do so, have never found an easy way. build_ allows me to double opt in to interesting people building amazing things and have high signal connections with neighbors.

As someone looking to venture into the startup world, this app is the perfect opportunity for me to learn to grow. I love how you can find events nearby with similar minded people. As someone from a rural community, it’s extremely useful to learn about ongoing events elsewhere too. Whether I’m trying to learn Python and HMTL or product design, it’s the perfect place to find the right people. I also love the platform’s emphasis on value exchange — you can both learn & teach!
