3 years dont regret it but don’t recommend it either
I used the butterfly IQ in different settings For my cardiology oncall I did not find it particularly helpful beyond the basics. Interestingly I find it particularly helpful in settings where I needed some POCUS namely undifferentiated shock and SOB. If you have constant access to US machine don’t waste ur money. If you are practising in remote area where no regular access to u/s,then yes it would be good bargain. A word of discretion :no PW ,2D poor acquisition,battery heats up quickly,u need to pay1£/day to use the software/Icloud.
Lousy customer service & annual service updating.
Paid for my annual access about a month ago & still no activation. Then when it finally got activated about a month later they withdrew another yearly fee. Nothing but Regret. Join them with a credit card that has a set limit or they’ll withdraw you into a deficit & they’ll give you nothing but “contacted the finance team” & no reply. Lost £800+ with the worst probe on the market…Regretful!
Good functionality but not durable
Good probe, but has broken down twice after 3-6 months requiring a replacement
Restricted in my country
I like the app but difficult to download it in my country and a message appears in the screen that not available in your region although my country is off OFAC in 2020 restricted list .
Very satisfied
I am a cardiologist and I use butterfly iQ in my office/outpatient . I am extremely satisfied with the image quality for heart and lung in most cases and it’s portability. Just a downside is the absence of PW in cardiac preset.

Best probe for those how start training in MSK ultrasound. You can use Nerve, Soft Tisue, Vascular for better understanding MSK scan.
Poor Service
Bought a butterfly during their Black Friday promotion, received it timely but the probe was not working, delaying care to my clients who needed it at the time. Has been 2 weeks since then and still haven’t received my replacement probe but was sent an email asking about returning the original malfunctioning probe (the email instructions say to wait until the replacement comes to send the old one back). Very disappointed with the lack of urgency this organization has taken to assist me in getting the device I paid over $2,000 for, considering that is a big amount of money for a small business to invest in equipment. At this point I’m considering requesting a refund and purchasing a devise from a different carrier.
