Good app
Good maps with 14 days trial. Details might be a little less than other maps but wasn’t a deal breaker. Mapping isn’t as intuitive: tagging a point and navigating towards it requires a couple of steps. Editing the route is difficult. Wind diwplay is bad, though. No vectors. Another big downside : cannot set the depth in meters and distances in nm. So good app, could be better.

De app zou interessant kunnen zijn als hij niet zoveel haperde. Regelmatig sluit de app zonder zelf iets ondernomen te hebben. Is soms heel traag. Waarschijnlijk omdat je rechtstreeks online kijkt. Offline kaarten, daar betaal je dan weer voor. Ik had liever de mogelijkheid gezien om de beelden ook in satelietversie te kunnen zien en de juiste positie in lengte-en breedtegraden weergegeven op het scherm. Ik vermoed dat de dieptes de minimumdieptes zijn (laag water), maar dat staat nergens vermeld. Een taalkeuze zou handig zijn.maar dat is geen must.

I’m sitting on my couch in front of the fireplace, uploading waypoints to my C-MAP app that will be synced with my Simrad screen when I get back on my boat after this winter. Great project to clean up my library!
