Cam Viewer for Tesla

The app just ask you for permission to access your iCloud files in order to “save the tesla records”. After you grant it, you just see a stupid screen with nothing to do while it transfer your files to their servers. None of the screens in the preview are actually in the app.

The app and user interface is nice. It does everything I expected it to do.. I would have liked it to separate the videos I saved in a separate “Dashcam” folder like on the Tesla itself stores them - Sentry, Dashcam, and Track.. The app had the videos saved as Recent Clips and Saved Clips and of course, I accidentally deleted the video clips I was saving. So I give it a 4.5/5.0

This is a great app! It does exactly what it’s intended to do. Show all four Tesla cameras simultaneously. My only suggestion would be for the developer to switch the location of the two side cameras on the screen. When I look at the rear camera and see something on the left side, it’s also on the right side camera position. Just switch the two side camera video locations on the screen and this would be a perfect app!

Couldn’t get the App to work and couldn’t find any instructions to help. Kept getting an error message that there weren’t any video clips on the flash drive, but I had no problem viewing them on my laptop. Disappointed.

For a free app, I can’t complain much. I imagine the developers saw how much other are charging for a similar product, and spent their own time to develop a free version for the rest of us! You guys rock! Definitely would love some improvement but I can’t complain!

I recently purchased a Tesla Model Y and got really excited with all the geeky things I can do to it. One of the first things I did was setup the Teslausb for wireless archival purpose. The problem with that is the saved video files are split into individual files and for every camera views. There’s a way to merge it but it takes more time and resources to figure it out. So I googled for a Teslacam viewer that supports smb for ios. Lo and behold Cam Viewer has the solution! It recognized my smb drive (You’d have to connect it on File app) and it pulled the videos together and I get to watch every angles of the videos in one seamless view. Best of all, it’s FREE.99!! Thank you very much for this!! Let me know how I can buy you a cup of coffee!!
