CAMRA's - Good Beer Guide

This app doesn’t work on androids ! My great uncle pays every month a service that does not work. I had to download this app on my own phone in the end. Even on iPhone, it is not terrible.

I feel slightly let down by the app. Before I paid a flat fee and had access to same content I would buy in the paper guide. Now I pay a monthly fee (therefore paying more) for a guide that has become a free for all of any old pub. Of course I can filter out the pubs I don’t want, but the whole point of the Good Beer Guide as opposed to the Good Pub Guide was just that, you didn’t need to filter. I can’t see the point of paying for an app if I can just get more or less the same information from a free website or search engine.

Great app for finding pubs and breweries. Because breweries often change brews it can be a bit out of date when looking for a particular beer. Main criticism is that its quite buggy and prone to returning errors, and on an iphone the back button is displayed under the time which means it wont work so you have to close and reopen the app each time.

When I open the app it just spins. Connected to WiFi and internet, so no excuse

I had a rolling annual subscription for the app (iPhone), but the app has refused to recognise that I had paid for it, so only got “free” features. I just got the subscription renewal reminder for next month - so I’ve cancelled it. Why pay for something it won’t let you use???

CAMRA have replaced this App with a web based version available directly from them. This App is no longer being supported, so will be out of date.

Paid for a subscription. Now stuck with “an unrecoverable error has occurred…”. Restarting app does not help. So even free features not available. Bad

have been using the app for over a year, subscription has renewed but now the app wont open - an unexpected error occured restart the app. uninstalled, rebooted etc - the same - any suggestions ?
