Had to sign up as an observer for my child, you can’t do it in the app kept trying forever no clues or info to let you know, so I finally went to the website to create an account there, great did that from my phone, finally managed to pair it with my child’s account and then went back to set up the app. Still no easy way to access my account in the app, can’t find the school, it only seems to list US school, I’m in Canada no way to select that and then the only way to sign up in the app is to scan a OR code from my account which I created on the website, how are you supposed to scan it from the same device? So you basically need two devices just to log in… I go to log in from another device so I can scan the qr code with my phone and now the password that I had just set up, just now and used twice doesn’t seem to work or it can’t find the account. Exasperating!

It is very organized, easy to navigate and comfortable.

The app is great in that I can keep up with grades but when I click on a class my daughter has and look at individual graded assignments, it just stops letting me scroll through. It’s like it freezes and I can’t scroll up or down. I then have to restart the app, only to have it happen again!

Apple, please take action. I wrote to canvas team twice. I can’t even scroll through the grades based on assignments, quizzes etc. on the mobile. Every single time I have to use a laptop to see the grades. Does anyone even work, here? The whole semester this has been the case. If this app is not fixed please remove them from the APP store.

The new update is in theory better, you can actually see more than two lines of assignments at a time. However it freezes all the time, takes forever to load. Basically useless for IOS right now.

Started out great. When second marking period started courses never updated. Very frustrating. Used to be a great way to keep up with my child’s assignments.

Been years and this bug still exists. Launch the app, choose a quarter to filter. Works fine. But after 5 seconds, the results get unfiltered automatically, showing you every item. Update: developer responded asking if I can share with support. No problem at all, happy to. But how? App has no way to contact support, developer response didn’t indicate. App support link from this App Store page goes to a page with lots of links. Confusing. May 10, 2024: I can share the issue with support, if you tell me how to. App has no contact support functionality. Dec 2024: This app gets worse with each release. Very slow to load info. Scrolling stops working most of the time. Looks like they have no quality engineering people, or they don’t listen to them.

This is usually a great app to keep track of my child’s grades. Now we’re going on several weeks of not being able to scroll within the app AT ALL. With it being towards the end of the semester, I pretty much can’t see anything now. Time for an app update, ASAP!

Used to work great. Every parent we know that uses this says that app rarely loads and freezes every time.
