You have to pay for the iPad version
Currently, the app is only available on smartphones, while the iPad version requires a paid subscription for access. Given that a smartphone app already exists, making it compatible with the iPad shouldn’t be an issue. Charging extra simply because the iPad app (which is the same as a smartphone app from a technical perspective) is still in ‘beta’ is unreasonable. In general, it’s a good app, but such an approach shows that the community doesn’t matter. It’s sole aim is to generate revenue. Not being able to use a note taking software on an iPad doesn’t make any sense. You can still use the web version, but overall it’s not a good experience on iPad.
