Card Binder: MTG Manager

This app works way better than TCG player for scanning cards, accurately, and quickly. The layout lets you easily select the printing of the card is visual and is way better than anything I’ve ever seen before

There is a bit of a learning curve with this app, but it’s a small one. For me the card scan feature worked great and made quick work of adding my collection to the app. One fun feature that I would love to see would be having the ability to create wish lists of cards you want to add to your collection. Then, it would be fun if you could build decks in the app using either your wish list, your current collection, or a combination of both.

This is a quality app made with a lot of heart. I have no issue with the scanner at all. Foil, sleeved, at night with tungsten light, just apply the right angle on your phone. Filtering capabilities just got better and you can search for card abilities like like flying, life link, haste etc… I feel more good stuff are on the way. It goes from from a 4 stars to a five. Great job! It need a few improvement which I’m sure the developer is aware of and is working on a fix.

I wish you would add advance search such as on the Gatherer Magic Card Database. This would allow us to find card we need to built our next deck. Hopefully your update will included this feature. But overall, I like it.

Excellent card binder tracker.

I have been looking for a database manager, but this is riddled with issues... 1. The scan is not cooperative. I tried several times... it would pick up sample words, but would not recognize the whole card. 2. The search is not intuitive at all. Use the search icon at the bottom... then, you have to click on the magnifying glass in the top right... type in your card name... then “search”. 3. The search function needs work. I had to use the filters to actually find a land card because it would not come up if I had all selected. “Entomb” is another example where I had to select only “instant” to find my card. 4. Search fails... I could find versions of my “Wheel of Fortune”, but not all versions of the card was available. When I did a search for “Serendipity Efreet”, it didn’t find my card until I re-adjusted the filters. Then it found a version, but not the one I have. Could not find my “Plateau” no matter how many times and filters I tried. Even partial words may or may not be successful. 5. Not a full collection of cards. Only 1 version of cards available... Howling Mine, Wheel of Fortune, Yavimaya Coast, Progentus, and a few others that I have noticed. Would be nice to have a version change button so if you do find a card, you can switch between versions. 6. Auto correct during search changes your word and you have to re-type. 7. Card count... only 100 card slots? Pay $5+ for a 1000 more slots? I have way more than 1000 cards and am not paying $5 or $10 to add more. An app like this should not be out to make money from it’s users. 8. Seems like the database doesn’t distinguish prices between non-foil and foil cards. 9. You CAN’T filter your collection alphabetically. Overall, this app needs a lot of work, and streamlining to make it more intuitive to the user. And remove the cost for adding cards. I will stick with my Excel spreadsheet thank you.

I am a degenerate mtg player with like 3000 cards, and it is mostly people like me who would purchase this app. But with only 100 cars space you can’t do anything.

You’re only allowed 100 cards in the free version. It doesn’t scan some of the more unique lands I have like island 310. It doesn’t scan token creatures either

Good till you go to proper check of a lot of different basic lands. Gotta go hunt them down very time consuming because it could be in 4 different locations.
