Cardinal Quest 2

This game is great for playing on the go. For me I usually struggle with mobile games due to the controls, but because if this game more strategy based gameplay I’ve never had any problems. 5/5 game would highly recommend if you love rougelikes!

I’ve played a ton of games on this platform over the last 10+ years, and I’ve played well over 100 different roguelikes… CQ2 is one of the few that I find myself continuing to come back to. It’s the perfect bite-sized turn based RPG that you can pick up and play for a few minutes to pass some time or you can get addicted for an hour or more. The various classes keep the game interesting, and trying to figure out what all the skills do amongst the vague, 16 bit, minimalist HUD. Sometimes the RNG can be a bit frustrating, but that’s to be expected with these procedurally generated roguelikes. An excellent effort to be sure… I’d love to see what you could do with a budget attached!

Mount Rushmore of roguelikes. Way better then Shattered pixel dungeon in every way possible. Love it! Only issue is there should be a confirmation button on skills and should tell you what each item and skill does when you click on them instead of having to look in your inventory every minute

I’ve been playing it for many many years, when I’m in the mood the just a solid rogue game, this always satisfies the craving for me.

Somehow found a fun, non-exploitative, genuinely well designed game with no app in the current state of AppStore.

Just fun without all the advertising crap like other games.

I noticed i couldnt redownload this after i upgraded my iphone; It said it wasnt on the app store anymore! I sent an email about wanting it back on the app store, and here it is! This was the first turn based rogue-like i loved and now I’m hooked on them! Once again, I’m SUPER glad it’s back on here!

Been playing this game for years! It seems it was removed and re-added to the App Store, because I couldn’t find it for a while. A timeless classic. This is what first got me into rogue like type games.
