Needs more routine updates. At least a few times a year. I get constant offline messages with my litter box. The factory reset option and turning it off doesn’t really help. I love the litter box but the app and connectivity needs work.

I rarely write reviews for products, good or bad, because everyone’s experience is their own. But wow was this product a big let down. Few bad reviews on any product is fine, but the overwhelming number of people with the same bad product experience and the extremely poor level of customer service experience is something to note. Switched over to Liter Robot and it’s worlds better. Spend the extra cash on something that won’t cause such a headache in the long run.

Now I have to delete the app and reinstall it yo get it to connect to my Leo’s Loo Too, the machine won’t cycle, and won’t connect to the app. A great $600 litter box for a little while there.

This started when the app changed from SmartyPear to Casa Leo. Now after every automatic cleaning cycle, the litter box shuts off. So I have to go in and turn it on manually, and it will only stay on until after the next automatic cleaning cycle. Which defeats the entire purpose of a self cleaning litter box. Why hasn't the app been updated since the change? This is ridiculous.

Update. I was given a replacement litter box. After 4 months, it died too. I can only manual clean it. The drum won’t stop turning if left in automatic. The litter box was working great but something happened while I was out of town either there was a change in the app or the machine died. It will not automatically clean. I have to manually clean it. Also the machine does one rotation and then rotates backwards and dumps litter in bottom tray. After this rotation, the machine doesn’t line up correctly. The drum gets very dirty. I have only had this for approximately 2 months. I am very disappointed.

The only problem I have with the app is the notification system, and it breaks the whole experience of the app. It seems there is no way to turn off notifications for when the cats use the litter box and so actually useful notifications get lost in the noise. According to settings, I’m getting 41 weekly average notifications (6/day) from this app, more than any other app on my device. Please add more granular notification settings. Whats more, the notification options are confusing and unintuitive. What’s the difference between a system notification and a device alert? I’m a software engineer and even I don’t know!

casa leo loo too was so easy to set up with the app. i was able to delay the spin cycle and was updated when my cat did use it in the beginning. sadly my cat ended up not liking it so we contact the customer support. they were so kind hearted and communicated openly and fast. even though it didn’t work out for my cat, the litter box itself was so sleek and amazing. i would recommend this highly if your cat likes hooded litter boxes!

terrible service terrible app terrible machine jesus christ every time i try connecting it to the app it says my wifi password is wrong when i clearly know what my wifi password is and when it doesn’t say the password is wrong it just says it couldn’t connect jesus christ fix your app $700 on this thing just for it to break in the next few months

I’ve had our litter box for a year. It’s been good, despite a few issues here and there. The app was great, but whatever happened in the last update when they changed the company name has destroyed the app. The litter box can no longer connect to my network, it won’t pair with my phone now, and the box has stopped cleaning after the cats leave it. All these issues popped up after the app update. Please let us revert back to the old app!!
