The New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) is a Catholic translation of the Bible published in 1985. The New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) has become the most widely used Roman Catholic Bible outside of the United States. It has the imprimatur of Cardinal George Basil Hume.
Like its predecessor, the Jerusalem Bible, the New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) version is translated "directly from the Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic." The 1973 French translation, the Bible de Jerusalem, is followed only "where the text admits to more than one interpretation." Introductions and notes, with some modifications, are taken from the Bible de Jerusalem.

This app helped me come to peace with god

Love this app. Makes it very convenient for me to read the bible wherever I am. I like how you can adjust the settings for font, background colour etc. I also like how easy it is to navigate the different books of the bible. Highly recommend.
Voice
The audio voice is horrible, there are no choices.
Disappointed
I have been using this app for sometime now. I enjoy reading and listening to The Word. I paid for it before and now I am being asked to pay again. The app runs quickly through the reasons and I am not able to understand what is said.
